A press conference dedicated to the “2025 China – Central Asia: Uzbekistan Trade Exhibition”, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, was held in Tashkent.
At the event, Liu Yue, Director of the CCPIT Kazakhstan Office, and Alisher Shaikhov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, participated and responded to questions from journalists.
It was noted that the “2025 China – Central Asia: Uzbekistan Trade Exhibition” will be held on September 16-18, 2025, at the Tashkent International Exhibition Center. The exhibition will highlight the strong trade and economic relations between the two countries. In recent years, China has remained Uzbekistan’s leading trade partner and a significant source of investment. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit held in Tianjin earlier this year, the launch of the “China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan” international transport corridor, as well as the negotiations between the leaders of China and Uzbekistan, have strengthened bilateral relations.
The exhibition will cover 4,000 square meters of indoor space and 800 square meters of outdoor space, with nearly 200 companies expected to participate. The exposition will be divided into seven main sections: national image, smart manufacturing and industrial equipment, green energy and energy storage, smart devices and electronic technologies, transportation and auto parts, construction and eco-friendly materials, as well as digital trade and services.
Leading companies, including Gree, Hisense, Zhejiang Hangcha, DEEP Robotics, Ruhr IoT, and Tianjin Huabang, will showcase their products and technologies. Biomimetic robots, smart sensor systems, and innovative solutions will showcase the exhibition’s innovative potential.
As part of the event, the opening ceremony and the China – Uzbekistan Trade and Investment Forum will be held on September 16. In addition, demand-and-supply conferences, sectoral presentations, and business meetings will also take place. Direct negotiations on consumer needs and proposals will be conducted on site, leading to agreements on mutually beneficial cooperation. The exhibition will not only provide Chinese enterprises with opportunities to enter international markets but will also enable companies in Uzbekistan and Central Asia to study Chinese technologies and products closely.
The event is expected to contribute to advancing cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, promoting industrial modernization, and expanding trade relations. The organizers call on government institutions of Uzbekistan, business entities, the media, and representatives of the public to actively participate in the exhibition.
