In the first six months of 2024, state budget revenues amounted to AZN 18.842.9 million against the forecast of AZN 16.940.6 million, which is AZN 1.902.3 million or 11.2% more than the forecast and 21.7% or AZN 3 billion 363 million more compared to the same period in 2023, APA-Economics reports citing the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to the Ministry, in January-June 2024, the state budget revenues amounted to AZN 8,282.4 million or 44% from tax revenues, AZN 6,390.5 million or 33.9% from transfers from the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) to the state budget, AZN 3,252.2 million or 17.3% from customs duties and import-related tax revenues, AZN 250 million or 1.3% from the Central Bank’s free balance of realized profits, 241.5 million or 1.3% from paid services of budget organizations, AZN 17.8 million from the leasing of state property, and AZN 408.5 million or 2.2% from other revenues.
