Uzbekistan Railways delegation, led by the Chairman of the JSC, Zufar Narzulla, met in Warsaw with the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Polish State Railways (PKP S.A.) Dariusz Grajda.

The parties discussed increasing the importance of rail transport in developing trade and economic relations between the two countries, including mutual preferences.
It was highlighted that commencing from January 1, 2025, when Poland assumes the presidency of the European Union, it will dedicate special attention to further strengthening trade, economic, and investment cooperation with the countries of Central Asia, particularly with Uzbekistan, paving the way for a promising future.
Following the talks, agreements were reached on organizing the visit of the PKP S.A. delegation to Uzbekistan, involving Polish specialists in the transformation and modernization of JSC Uzbekistan Railways, and developing an investment project for the production of lifting equipment in Uzbekistan jointly with the Polish company FUD.
