The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) applied measures of influence in the form of imposing a fine on two oversite objects.

This is stated in the message of the NBU, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The fine was imposed on:
- JSC CB PrivatBank (EDRPOU 14360570) – for violations of the legislation, regulating the operation of payment systems, the use of payment instruments and schemes for the execution of payment operations, detected during planned on-site monitoring. The amount of the fine is UAH 1.7 million;
- Universal Data Center LLC (EDRPOU 35962030) – for late submission of reports to the regulator on activities on the payment market for June 2024. The amount of the fine is UAH 170,000.
Decisions on the application of these influence measures were adopted based on the results of planned on-site monitoring and off-site monitoring within the framework of the payment infrastructure oversite function and took effect on October 21, 2024.
Institutions are obliged to pay fines within five working days from the date of receipt of the relevant decision of the regulator on imposing a fine.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Bank oversees the infrastructure of the financial market in order to ensure their continuous, reliable and efficient functioning.
