Kyrgyzstan presents investment opportunities in agriculture, tourism and trade to Turkish businessmen

Kyrgyzstan’s Trade Representative in Turkiye Chingiz Toktobekov, together with the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic, met with Deputy Chairman of the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hakan Pakalin and its members.

According to the Ministry of Economy, the event was organized with the aim of strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, such important issues as increasing trade between the two countries, exploring investment opportunities and expanding strategic partnership were discussed. Representatives of the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry were provided with detailed information on Kyrgyzstan’s opportunities for investors, with an emphasis on work in the fields of agriculture, tourism and trade.

Toktobekov proposed organizing a program for exchanging experience in the field of agriculture with the aim of introducing a drip irrigation system in Kyrgyzstan.

Following the meeting, the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Trade Representative of Kyrgyzstan decided to work together to further develop economic cooperation. At the same time, he invited the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry staff to take part in a business forum to be held on September 23-24 in Bishkek. This meeting was regarded as an important step to further strengthen economic ties between Turkiye and Kyrgyzstan.
