Head of National Investment Agency, Ravshanbek Sabirov, met with the Deputy Ambassador of Italy to Kyrgyzstan, as well as representatives of the Agency for the Promotion and Internationalization of Italian Companies Abroad.
As reported by the agency, at the meeting the parties discussed the prospects for deepening Kyrgyz-Italian trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as issues of preparing joint events in the B5+1 format.
It was noted that the inclusion of Kyrgyzstan in the list of 15 priority countries for Italy confirms the high level of confidence and strategic interest in the development of bilateral partnership.
“Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to the development of cooperation with Italy and encourages the flow of foreign direct investment. We provide reliable protection of investors’ rights and state guarantees in accordance with the legislation, as well as international obligations. Kyrgyzstan is open to long-term strategic partners and is ready to create the most favorable conditions for doing business,” said Ravshanbek Sabirov.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen the partnership and implement joint initiatives.
