Kazakhstan, Germany strive to develop economic cooperation – Tokayev

The presence of leading German companies in Kazakhstan testifies to the strong desire of both countries to develop economic cooperation, Kazakh President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev said at a meeting with representatives of German business ahead of the Kazakhstan-German business forum, Trend reports.

President Tokayev pointed out that German companies are leading the charge in innovation and are pivotal in steering the ship of the country’s global sustainable development.

Tokayev also put his cards on the table, expressing confidence that the agreements and joint initiatives hatched during the visit of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will bolster the strategic partnership between Astana and Berlin.

The event was attended by Chairman of the Management Board of Siemens Energy AG Christian Bruch, Chairman of the Management Board of CLAAS Group Jan-Hendrik Mohr, Chairman of the Executive Board of DB E.C.O.
