The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), under the U.S. Department of Energy, has updated its forecast for the average daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan for 2025-2026, APA-Economics reports citing EIA’s monthly report.
The average daily oil production in the country in 2025 is expected to be 620,000 barrels, which is 10,000 barrels less than the previous forecast.
According to the EIA’s estimate, the indicated figure will be 610,000 barrels in the following year (the forecast remains unchanged).
Based on the report, in 2024, the daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan was 600,000 barrels.
Recall that in 2023, the daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan accounted for 620,000 barrels.
Additionally, in 2022, the daily production of liquid hydrocarbons in the country was 670,000 barrels, and in 2021, it was 720,000 barrels.
Note that in 2019 and 2020, the respective figures were 780,000 and 700,000 barrels.
