Kyrgyzstan’s capital city of Bishkek ranked 197th out of 218 cities in the list of the most expensive cities in the world.

Analytical agency Numbeo has updated the ranking of the most expensive cities in the world. The top 3 included Geneva, Zurich and New York.
Almaty and Astana were recognized by analysts as the most expensive cities in Central Asia, ranking 164th and 176th, respectively. Tashkent is on the 201st place.
The rating is based on information on consumer prices, real estate values and quality of life indicators. It is based on New York price lists and is automatically awarded 100 points.
