In 2024, Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) amounted to $6,892.7 million, according to calculations by APA-Economics based on the report of the State Customs Committee.
Azerbaijan’s exports to OTS member states last year totaled $4,022.5 million, while imports stood at $2,870.2 million.
During the reporting period, trade with OTS member states accounted for 14.5% of Azerbaijan’s total trade turnover.
Compared to the previous year, Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with Kazakhstan increased by 50%, reaching $470.4 million, while trade with Uzbekistan rose by 41% to $252.1 million. In contrast, trade turnover with Türkiye saw a 20% decline, amounting to 6,130.2 million, and trade with Kyrgyzstan dropped by 38%, totaling $40 million.
Additionally, in 2024, Azerbaijan exported non-oil products worth $542.3 million to Türkiye, $131.3 million to Kazakhstan, and $39.3 million to Uzbekistan.
