In 2024, revenues from the non-oil and gas sector to Azerbaijan’s state budget amounted to over 19.194 billion manats ($11.29 billion), Report informs, citing the country’s Ministry of Finance.
According to the ministry, this is 3.1% more than forecasted and 12.4% more compared to 2023.
During the reporting period, the share of the oil and gas sector in budget revenues was 51.6%.
In the non-oil-gas sector, revenues were distributed as follows:
- 57.5% or 11.027 billion manats ($6.486 billion) came from taxes and duties;
- 34.6% or over 6.648 billion manats ($3.91 billion) came from customs duties and import taxes;
- 2.9% or 547.9 million manats (almost $322.3 million) came from paid services of budget organizations;
- 1.3% or 250 million manats ($147.05 million) came from the profits of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan;
- 0.4% or 69.9 million manats ($41.1 million) came from targeted budget funds (targeted budget funds under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and Vehicle Utilization Fund);
- 0.2% or 37.6 million manats ($22.1 million) came from state property leasing;
- 3.1% or 613 million manats (just under $360.6 million) came from other revenues.
