The delegation of Eldik Bank of Kyrgyzstan, headed by Chairman of the Board, Ulanbek Nogaev, held a meeting with Executive Vice President of the China Development Bank (CDB) Zhang Hui in Astana (Kazakhstan).
Following the meeting, the parties once again confirmed their readiness for in-depth cooperation between the two banks.
It should be noted that at the stage of signing an agreement to provide Eldik Bank with a credit line to support small and medium-sized businesses and finance large infrastructure projects of strategic importance for the Kyrgyz Republic.
In addition, an agreement was reached to open additional credit lines to support the economy of Kyrgyzstan.
“Our cooperation with CDB will help expand Eldik Bank’s services and make an even more significant contribution to the development of the country’s economy,” noted Ulanbek Nogaev.
These days a meeting of the Interbank Association of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is being held in Astana.
The Eldik Bank delegation takes an active part in this event.
One of the main issues of the meeting was the implementation of the ESG agenda. In order to intensify cooperation between the parties and study best practices in the use of ESG financing, a memorandum of cooperation in the framework of ESG financing was signed today between the member banks of the SCO International Bank.
