President of Mongolia visits in Uzbekistan

President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa arrived in Uzbekistan on June 23, the press secretary of the President of Uzbekistan reported. The state visit took place on June 23-26 at the invitation of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The President of Mongolia was met by Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov at the Tashkent international airport.

The visit will last until 26 June. At talks between president Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the head of Mongolia, issues of expansion of ties in different areas will be discussed. Signing of a number of bilateral documents is expected. The presidents will also meet representatives of the business circles of Uzbekistan and Mongolia. Ukhnaa Khurelsukh is also scheduled to visit Khiva, a historic town in Khorezm region.
