Seventy-nine Tajik companies have registered in the European Union’s Registered Exporter System, or REX, allowing them to benefit from tariff preferences when exporting goods to the EU market.
Representatives of the Export Development Agency under the Government of Tajikistan announced the figures at a news conference summarizing the agency’s work in the first half of 2026.
The REX system enables registered exporters to certify the origin of their goods and claim preferential tariff treatment under applicable EU trade arrangements.
Meanwhile, Tajikistan is developing a digital platform that will provide information about reliable domestic exporters, their products and export capacity.
According to the Agency, the current exporter registry includes around 200 companies with export potential that meet the established requirements.
Work on the electronic platform is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
The authorities are also establishing a network of support offices for suppliers and exporters across the country. Premises have already been allocated in Dushanbe, Danghara, Bokhtar, Kulob, Jayhoun, Shahritous, Khujand, Isfara, Istaravshan, Ayni, Rasht, Khorog and Vanj.
The offices are expected to provide technical and financial assistance to small and medium-sized businesses, help improve product competitiveness and support companies seeking access to foreign markets.
They will also work to facilitate the inclusion of Tajik enterprises in the supply chains of major domestic and international companies.
