In 2025, Azerbaijan’s total imports increased by 15.8% year-on-year to $24.3797 billion, the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics.
The share of imports was 33.9% for the state sector ($8.283 billion), 57.1% for the private sector ($13.9117 billion), and 9% for individuals ($2.1849 billion).
Compared with the previous year, state sector imports rose by 31.2%, private sector imports by 9%, and imports by individuals by 10.3%.
It is also noted that last year state sector exports amounted to $11.4489 billion, private sector exports to $13.4455 billion, and exports by individuals to $148.5 million.
