An event titled Industrial Safety Summit will be held in Baku on December 14 under the slogan “Towards Zero”, Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) informed APA.
According to the information, the event will be organized by the Azerbaijan State Scientific Research Institute of Labor Protection and Safety Techniques of the MES together with the “Azerbaijan Industrial Safety Association” Public Union.
It was noted that the main purpose of the event is to discuss innovations applied worldwide in industrial and occupational safety, environmental protection, combating climate change, as well as safety issues in the workplace, modern innovations and best practices applied in this field.
The summit is expected to feature up to 15 speakers and moderators, and to be attended by more than 400 officials from public and private enterprises, including government officials, executive directors, company representatives, and businesspeople.
